APC Standard Runflats
Tires are the most vulnerable point to immobilize a vehicle, which always has to be capable of escaping at full speed even with one or more flat tires.
The APC STD Runflats allow up to 100km to be safely achieved with deflated tires, according to the requirements of the FINABEL 20.A.5 agreement.
Our Runflats systems are lightweight and easy to install, using only standard tools. Made of 2 bullet-resistant copolymer-composite segments, fastened together around the rim with our patented locking system, offering high load rates and longer distances.
All of our systems are designed to fit into each specific wheel (single piece), offering an excellent performance (when the tire is inflated) having no vibration even at high speeds and a better control of the vehicle running in deflated mode.
Patented locking system
Our innovating locking system helps not only to achieve a much easier installation of the Runflats, but a more secure way to keep both parts of the Runflat together, tighten to the wheel and more resistant to get loose due to vibration.
Its unique design, allows bring both ends together distributing the tension on the plastic at a minimum resulting in a more uniform tension on the material.
